Dress Code & Uniform
A higher standard of dress encourages greater respect and better behavior. Here's a quick visual guide for parents and students.
Shirts
Polo shirts with the school logo, tucked in daily.

School Polo (Logo)
Elementary K–5: red or navy blue

Middle School Polo
Pink raspberry, red, brilliant blue, or black
- Tucked in at all times
- Solid white, gray, or black undershirt only
- No T-shirts as daily wear
- Undershirt cannot show below hem or cuff
Bottoms
Grades K–8: uniform khaki or navy.

Khaki Pants / Shorts / Skorts

Navy Pants / Shorts / Skorts
- Jeans allowed on casual / dress-down days
- No holes or ripped jeans
Shoes
Closed-toe and closed-back, every day.

Black Dress Shoes (Boys)
K–5 with uniform

Black Dress Shoes (Girls)
K–5 with uniform

Sneakers
Middle school: any color · Casual days: any color flat closed shoe
- Closed toe and closed back
- No military boots or metal tips
- No heels, wheeled sneakers, or slippers
- No cowboy / pointed boots
Socks
Worn daily — white or black only.

- No higher than lower calf
- No fishnets or inappropriate leg wear
Outerwear
Navy blue jackets / zippered sweatshirts only.

Navy Jacket / Sweater
Available at Walmart, Children's Place, or Old Navy
- Plain navy — no other logos or names
- Label all jackets with student's name
Belts

Plain Belt
Khaki, brown, black, or navy
- Excess length tucked in loops
- No white or bright colors
- No large buckles, logos, or dangling items
Hair, Makeup & Nails
- Hair neat and clean, natural colors only
- No mohawks, spikes, or shaved symbols
- No hats, headbands, scarves, or bandanas
- No makeup or fake eyelashes
- No long nails or dark polish
Jewelry
- Girls: one stud or tiny hoop per ear lobe
- Watch, small bracelet, thin necklace allowed
- Necklaces worn inside the shirt
- Boys: no earrings
- No body piercings other than ear lobes
Personal Hygiene
Daily basics that keep students healthy and confident.
- Wash hands often
- Cover mouth when coughing
- Regular baths or showers
- Brush and floss teeth daily
Parents Visiting Campus
When entering Growing Together Academy, please dress appropriately. Clothing should not be offensive to anyone.
Uniform Violations
Level I
Verbal warning
Level II
Violation note sent home
Or student calls parent from office.
Level III
Parent brings correct uniform
Student waits in office until uniform arrives.
