Free VPK & Summer VPK in Orlando.
Florida's Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) program prepares 4-year-olds for kindergarten — at no cost to families. Growing Together Academy is a proud VPK provider through the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County.
Two ways to enroll your 4-year-old
Every Florida 4-year-old is entitled to one free VPK program — choose the school-year or summer session.
School-Year VPK
Runs alongside our K–11 academic year. Mornings or full-day options available — pairs perfectly with our wraparound aftercare.
Summer VPK
An intensive summer program for children entering kindergarten in the fall. Great option if your child missed the school-year session.
Who qualifies for free VPK?
Florida's VPK program is funded by the state and administered locally by the Early Learning Coalition of Orange County. To qualify, your child must meet these requirements:
- Child must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the program year
- Parent/guardian must be a Florida resident (proof required)
- Child must be a U.S. citizen or qualified non-citizen
- Eligible to attend the year before kindergarten — one program year only
